FOURTH CONSECUTIVE VICTORY FOR SACRED MISSILE
Having not started for two months, SACRED MISSILE resumed from a break to record his fourth victory in a row, highlighting himself as one of Macau’s most promising up and coming gallopers.
Although jumping slightly awkwardly out of the barriers, SACRED MISSILE still showed enough pace to be challenging the front-runners, but jockey R. Maria allowed him to ease back and let those charging for the lead to continue to press forward.
Into the first bend he had four ahead of him, but he was pulled out wide where he was racing comfortably and started to make up round, finding himself taking the lead shortly after entering the home straight, racing away for another absolutely dominate performance, this time the margin was five and a half lengths.
In his fourth start to date, SACRED MISSILE has won by a combined margin of 17 and three quarter lengths!
Stepping up to the 1600m at his next start, SACRED MISSILE found one slightly better, finishing second in the Listed Macau Autumn Trophy. It was a great effort considering it was his first start at black type level, showing connections that he looks very capable of capturing further black types in the future.
